My offerings
My classes blend creative movement with natural layering, building strength and awareness while exploring your personal edge. Accessibility is central to my teaching. Every sequence offers options to modify, deepen, or simplify based on what serves you.
You know your body best. I'll always ask you to check in and honor where you're at each time you show up on your mat—mentally, physically, energetically, and emotionally.
We close every practice with gratitude, thanking ourselves for showing up and our bodies for carrying us through each day. Sharing this borrowed, ancient practice in community is such a gift, and I'm extremely grateful to be able to guide my students through their own personal practice.
About me
Finding my yoga practice felt like coming home.
I grew up as a dancer, so my relationship with intentional, creative movement began very young. Then, in 2011, I had spinal fusion surgery to correct severe scoliosis. This fusion saved my life but left me fused from T4-L1, permanently losing a significant amount of my spinal mobility.
As I adjusted to this new reality, I fell into a pattern of overcompensating. For years, I pushed myself to painful limits in dance, determined to blend in with everyone else, often injuring my back in the process.
Everything changed in 2019 when I took a vinyasa class that opened my heart to mindful movement in an entirely new way. Yoga gave me something I'd been searching for over a decade: deep gratitude for my body exactly as it is. I may not be able to do backbends or twists, but my practice feels completely whole.
This journey has cultivated such profound compassion—for my own body and for the bodies of others. Wherever you are in your relationship with movement, the physical yoga has something beautiful to offer you. I can't wait to see you on your mat.
